Completed Red Wing deployment Ukraine · Winter 2025

Operation Sierra V

Irtaf3’s first official Red Wing deployment to Ukraine was a direct field mission to understand modern war, gain real operational experience, and build future protective capability from reality—not theory.

The mission became an operational foundation for protection, preparedness, crisis-zone understanding, and responsible support in high-risk environments.

Operational foundation

Experience that could not be gained from a distance.

The purpose was not symbolic. During the deployment, IRTAF3’s CEO entered the Ukrainian Armed Forces environment and experienced the pressure, danger, confusion, discipline, and responsibility of operating inside an active war zone.

Eastern Ukraine represented a demanding modern conflict environment shaped by drones, artillery, surveillance, unstable front lines, and civilian life under constant pressure. Serious protective work requires an understanding of those realities from the ground.

The purpose
“We went to understand war—so that one day, we can help end it better.”

The goal is not to glorify conflict. It is to build the experience, credibility, networks, and operational knowledge needed to protect people where empty promises are not enough.

Why this work matters.

Protection is not separate from peace. In places where violence destroys safety and normal life, credible peacebuilding also requires preparation, resilience, and people capable of acting responsibly under pressure.

01

The human cost is immediate.

Behind every headline are families, cities, soldiers, volunteers, medics, and civilians living under constant pressure. War destroys safety, homes, trust, structure, and normal life.

02

Modern conflict changes fast.

Drone warfare, electronic warfare, artillery, surveillance, disinformation, and unstable front lines have changed what protection means. Responsible action requires current, grounded understanding.

03

Protection is part of peace.

Peace is not created by words alone. In dangerous environments, it also needs people who can prepare, advise, train, evacuate, protect, and stand between violence and the vulnerable.

04

Capability must be earned.

Operation Sierra V showed what future Red Wing operators, partners, and missions must be ready for: pressure, risk, responsibility, discipline, and real consequences.

The Red Wing principle

The lesson: peace needs protection.

IRTAF3 Red exists because humanitarian work alone is not always enough where war, terrorism, organized crime, exploitation, or severe instability destroy the conditions required for peace.

Red Wing builds responsible protective capability through field experience, professional preparation, trusted networks, and disciplined action—so support remains credible when the environment becomes dangerous.
